Description:
Have you ever felt frustrated when negotiations descend into name calling and lines in the sand?  Both litigants and lawyers have a tendency to downshift into unproductive and defensive behavior in moments of negotiation impasse.  Learn new techniques for structuring your own communication and reframing statements made by others to move negotiations forward.  American psychologist, mediator and teacher Marshall Rosenberg (1934 – 2015) developed Non-Violent Communication as a technique for resolving disputes between individuals and groups all over the world.  This seminar will focus on Dr. Rosenberg’s simple but powerful communication methods, which have settled conflicts between warring nations and can help you in your professional and person communication.
